Crystal Motors, the official distributor for premium class automobiles in Azerbaijan, unveiled two of the most significant additions to the Jaguar Land Rover range: the All-New Jaguar F-TYPE roadster and the newest generation of the All-New Range Rover Sport.

More than 200 guests turned out for the unveil, which took place at the Crystal Motors Showroom in Yeni Yasamal. As well as getting up close and personal with the two new additions to the showroom, guests also enjoyed a short video presentation that extolled the virtues of both the Jaguar F-TYPE and the new Range Rover Sport.

The new F-TYPE, which made its global debut at last year’s Paris Motor Show, is celebrated as the spiritual successor to the iconic E-Type, while the new Range Rover Sport – which first appeared at this year’s New York Motor Show – is only the second instalment in the Sport line-up, following the launch of the original iteration in 2005. Both models make use of technically innovative technology to push the boundaries of performance like never before. The new F-TYPE for instance makes use of a new aluminium body, which not only increases body stiffness by 30 percent but also reduces fuel intake by a staggering 75 percent. The new Range Rover Sport meanwhile, thanks to a new lightweight body, is an incredible 420kg lighter than its predecessor, the benefits of which are immediately recognisable in the SUV’s performance.

The launch in Azerbaijan follows a similar event at the Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Baku, which took place on 24 August. Once again, more than 200 guests – including prospective customers, brand enthusiasts and members of the media – were invited to marvel at both the Jaguar F-TYPE and new Range Rover Sport, both of which were unveiled during the course of the evening.

So popular was the event that down-payments for 6 Range Rover Sports were taken there and then, with further interest in test drives and potential purchases being made before the end of the night.
