Glamorous guests were out in force to enjoy a quintessentially British Day of Polo last weekend at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club.
The event, which aims to provide spectators with some enthralling polo as well as celebrate British heritage and tradition, kicked off with a game of somewhat unusual Camel Polo between the Cavalry and Guards, before the main spectacle of the day took place between British Army and Habtoor Polo, Eton and Harrow, Oxford and Cambridge.

VIPs including Jeremy Hackett, Nick Edmiston, Rashid and Mohammed Habtoor, Colonel Simon Ledger, and British Deputy Ambassador to the UAE, Edward Hobart, were then kept entertained with a host of evening festivities, including a charity auction, which raised US$15,000 for the Pakistan Recovery Fund, and a Rivaage Fashion show, before DJs kept the crowd dancing until the early hours.
